Their Love Story

Samantha and Arthur, married in Northeastern Pennsylvania at the Montdale Country Club (Jermyn, PA) had such a beautiful wedding day. The weather was absolutely perfect, not too hot and not too cold. The one thing about Pennsylvania weather is you never know what you're going to get. It was actually supposed to storm on their wedding day but not even one drop fell out of the sky.

Samantha and Arthur met online using a dating site called Ok Cupid. Their first date was at Dunkin Donuts where they sat talking for 3 hours. Samantha was gone much longer than her dad anticipated, so he kept calling her cell phone to check on her. To the two of them 3 hours felt like minutes, and they both knew that there was something special about to happen.

The Proposal

Arthur originally had plans to propose at a beautiful dinner he had planned for him and Samantha, but some things had changed and he decided what better way to ask the love of his life to marry him than with their daughter in their own home.

Arthur and Samantha both work really long hours and the opposite schedule. When Arthur is starting his work day, Samantha is just getting home from hers. Even with such hectic schedules they do their best to make time for each other.

Because of COVID these two did have to postpone their wedding an entire year. It was a difficult decision for them but they weren’t sure what life was going to have in store. In the end they were really happy they decided to move their wedding date to 2021 so they could celebrate with all of their friends and family, mask free :)

Having been together already for 7 years Samantha and Arthur already felt married. They both joked that now they can finally have joint tax returns, but they are just thrilled to “officially” be a family.

Their vow were absolutely perfect! They made me laugh and cry! I love when couples decide to do their own vows because it truly gives you an inside peek of what their life is like together - and theirs is pretty darn cute :)
