Margi + Pat's Engagement Session @ Marywood University, Scranton, PA
Margi and Pat’s engagement session was at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to know my couples better. We spend the entire day together the day of their wedding so it’s fun to have a rapport with each other already in place. I’m super excited to be a part of their wedding at the Maiolatesi Winery in the Scott Township area of Pennsylvania.
Meet the Couple
Margi and Pat are the kind of couple who prefer to stay home instead of going out. I personally can relate as I have become a home-body myself since having babies. They love to cuddle up on the couch and binge-watch TV shows or watch movies. Sounds like a perfect date night to me ;)

The Proposal
Poor Pat worked tirelessly to plan fun activities for them to do together so he could propose to Margi, but unfortunately COVID-19 repeatedly ruined his plans. Pat decided he couldn’t wait any longer and proposed unexpectedly one night while they were outside together with their dog. Margi was completely surprised and thought it was the perfect proposal. Sometimes simple really is better, and when you love someone and want to spend your life with them none of those frills really matter.

Their Upcoming Wedding
These two chose to have a fall wedding at the Maiolatesi Winery in Scott Township. They love everything about the fall season - the weather, the colors, the pumpkins - and they can’t wait! They are especially looking forward to their wedding ceremony, as they’re planning a more intimate ceremony - with only family and close friends in attendance. I personally can’t wait to hang out with these two again for the day and meet their closest friends and family! Oh, and the wine won’t hurt either ;)
